On 15–16 November 2025, the innovation hackathon “Future Skills Hack: Building the Next Generation of EdTech” took place in Zhytomyr, bringing together IT talent, educators and innovators to develop new solutions for education.

The event was co-organised by the Center for Conversion and Professional Adaptation (CCPA) and the Innovation Hub of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University. It was held as part of the global DigiEduHack 2025 movement and created a practical space where participants could transform educational challenges into working EdTech prototypes within 48 hours.

During the first day, participants focused on idea development, team work and prototype creation. The programme included the official opening of the hackathon, mentoring sessions, a lecture by Kasper Spiro, an overview of the EdTech market by Kateryna Severinko, and an intensive phase of product development.

The second day was dedicated to finalising the solutions and preparing teams for the demo day. Participants attended a pitching lecture by Ivan Novosiolov, continued technical testing and improvement of their prototypes, and presented their solutions to the jury.

At the final stage, the jury selected the strongest teams. The winners received certificates and useful prizes to support the further development of their projects.
