The Center for Conversion and Professional Adaptation (CCPA) is pleased to announce the launch of Bridge2Green — a cross-border cleantech initiative designed to build a green innovation bridge between Estonia and Ukraine.

Implemented jointly by Beamline Accelerator, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University and CCPA, Bridge2Green connects Estonian startups working in green technologies with Ukrainian industrial partners.

The project aims to accelerate industrial decarbonisation, improve energy efficiency and support the digital transformation of the Zhytomyr region.

Within the initiative, Estonian innovations in renewable energy, AI-based energy consumption optimisation and emissions monitoring will be tested in cooperation with Ukrainian industrial enterprises. This creates a practical foundation for long-term partnerships and the scaling of climate-focused solutions in Ukraine.

The key objectives of Bridge2Green are to:

Launch pilot projects of Estonian startups in the industrial sector of Zhytomyr region;

Reduce CO₂ emissions through scalable digital solutions;

Provide training and support to Ukrainian industrial enterprises;

Create a sustainable Estonian-Ukrainian innovation cluster.

Bridge2Green is funded by the Ministry of Climate of Estonia through international climate cooperation funds via KIK — the Environmental Investment Centre.

For CCPA, participation in Bridge2Green reflects its broader mission to support innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable regional development. The project creates a practical cooperation platform where Ukrainian industry can access tested cleantech solutions, while Estonian startups can validate their technologies in real industrial environments.

By connecting startups, industry, academia and civil society, Bridge2Green contributes to a more resilient, energy-efficient and innovation-driven recovery of Ukraine’s industrial sector.
