On 18 December 2021, the graduation ceremony for participants of the autumn semester of the project “Norway–Ukraine. Professional Adaptation. Integration into the State System” (NUPASS) took place at Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University.

A total of 64 graduates received certificates after completing the programme “Entrepreneurship and Web Technologies in Business.”

The first group, consisting of 34 participants, was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway. In Zhytomyr, the project was implemented by Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University and the NGO “Center for Conversion and Professional Adaptation” (CCPA). The initiative focused on professional retraining, entrepreneurship education and support for the social and professional readaptation of ATO/JFO participants, members of their families and families of fallen service members.

While the participants received their graduation documents, their children took part in a New Year celebration organised in the “Veteran House” space. The celebration was prepared by Olena Syvak, Yuliia Tolmachova and Volodymyr Lahuta with the support of the International Foundation for Social Adaptation and benefactors from Zhytomyr.

CCPA expresses its gratitude to the team that coordinated the “Norway–Ukraine” project on behalf of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University and the NGO “Center for Conversion and Professional Adaptation.”

Special thanks go to the International Foundation for Social Adaptation and Volodymyr Rubtsov for enabling the university and CCPA to continue active work in the field of professional readaptation of ATO/JFO participants and members of their families.

CCPA also expresses its gratitude to the communities that allocated funding for the training of ATO/JFO participants and members of the families of fallen service members. Their support made it possible to expand access to the programme and involve more participants from Zhytomyr region.

Together, we are doing work that is truly relevant and important. Ukrainian defenders, their families and the families of those who gave their lives for Ukraine deserve this support.

Peace, kindness and prosperity to Ukraine.
